Stamford AFC - The Daniels
The coach will be leaving the ground for the journey to Blyth Spartans on saturday 21st december 2013 at 0815.
The reason for the slightly earlier departure time is that as this is the last saturday before christmas the traffic will be much heavier than normal and we have to go through newcastle to avoid the metro shopping centre.
To book a seat, please phone or text Phil Bee on 07772 646776 if you wish to travel
Moyo extends loan for 3rd Month
Stamford have extended the loan of David Moyo from Northampton Town.
Manager David Staff said “I was already talking to Northampton about possibly extending David’s loan but the red card for Ryan Robbins last Saturday and his three match ban made it almost a necessity for us.
I’m pleased that Northampton see the benefits to David by playing with us and that they agreed to extend the loan”. David will now stay with the Club until 3rd January 2014.

Each year the Club runs a Xmas draw with three cash prizes as well as the usual bottles, chocolates etc. The draw is after our next home game against Ilkeston on 14th December. If you have tickets but haven’t yet sold them and returned them please do. The Xmas draw is one of our fund raising activities each season so every book of tickets sold benefits the Club
The draw is run by John Burrows and he will be at Frickley on Saturday and will be happy to take your tickets there if you are going to that game. If not they can be posted through the club letterbox – the post is checked every day. Finally, bring them on the 14th. John will be stood by the entrance as you come in.
If you have not had any tickets and want some, or you have sold your tickets and want some more, e mail John at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will get some to you. You will also be able to get some from John on the 14th.
You can’t win a prize if you haven’t got a ticket.

Daniels New Stadium and Football Development Centre
With the University of Leicester Archaeological Services now off site, builders R G Carter have been busily completing bulk earthworks at Borderville. This will enable them, through early December, to complete the foundations and begin introducing structural steelwork, metal decking and drainage to the first team pitch - all hopefully completed by Christmas.
Then brickwork, roof cladding, external works and other drainage will be the major tasks for January.
The site's 15-man team have been flat out since the archaeologists declared that work could go ahead. They had found an ancient stone kiln and part of a human jaw bone, possibly from the Roman era, but nothing which would stop the development. Phew!
Commented site manager Shaun Allerton: "I'm happy with the progress we are making. We are where we want to be at the moment and the weather has been kind to us. We are hoping to avoid lengthy wet or cold spells."
Seen in our picture, with Borderville plans, are site executives, manager Shaun Allerton (right) and foreman Martyn Hardy.
The Daniels are searching for a Physiotherapist / Sports injury person to join our current Medical Team.
